Who we are
Baccly is an IB study platform built by IB students. Our website is at baccly.com. Contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect
When you create an account we collect:
- Your email address and password, stored securely via Supabase Auth
- Your IB profile - subjects, level, graduation year, and country - which you provide voluntarily during onboarding
- Deadlines, study sessions, grades, and saved content you log while using the platform
- Study group data: your display name, check-in activity, reactions, and any deadlines or announcements you post
- Custom flashcard decks and cards you create, including their sharing settings
- Basic usage data to improve the product
If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email from Google. We never receive or store your Google password.
If you use the Calendar feature to import a ManageBac iCal feed, the URL is stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers beyond the proxied fetch.

How we use your data
- To provide and personalise your Baccly experience
- To send transactional emails such as account verification and password resets
- To improve and debug the platform
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

Data retention
Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page - this immediately and permanently removes all your data. You can also request deletion by emailing [email protected].

Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Baccly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
