Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Baccly at baccly.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses Baccly.

Who can use Baccly

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of another person without their consent
Accounts are for personal, non-commercial use only

What Baccly provides

Baccly is a study platform for IB students. It offers tools including a score calculator, deadline tracker, CAS tracker, exam countdown, IA & EE tracker, citation tool, question bank, flashcards, and other study resources.

Baccly is provided “as is.” We make no guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or that content will be error-free.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Baccly for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content without written permission
Upload or submit content that is abusive, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
Use the platform in a way that disrupts or degrades the experience for other users
Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the platform

Your content

Any content you submit - deadlines, CAS entries, study notes - remains yours. By submitting content, you grant Baccly a limited licence to store and display it solely to provide the service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for advertising or AI training.

Intellectual property

The Baccly name, logo, design, and original content are our intellectual property. The IBO owns the IB curriculum, subject names, and all official IB materials.

Baccly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the IBO in any way.

Third-party content and links

Baccly may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. Links do not imply endorsement.

Disclaimers

Baccly is a student-built tool and is not a substitute for official IB guidance from your school or the IBO
Score calculations and other tool outputs are estimates only and should not be relied upon for official decisions
We are not responsible for any academic outcomes resulting from use of the platform
The platform is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baccly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the platform or its users. You may delete your own account at any time from the Settings page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Baccly after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
