About Baccly
Built by IB students, because nothing we needed was in one place.
Baccly is a free study platform for the IB Diploma. Practice questions with mark schemes, whole papers under exam timing, flashcards that come back before you forget, and the trackers that keep an IA off the last weekend before it is due.
Why it exists
Revising for the IB means collecting things. A folder of questions from one place, a mark scheme from another, a data booklet someone screenshotted, a deadline written on a whiteboard three weeks ago. Most of the time spent revising is spent finding.
The tools that fix that mostly sit behind a subscription, which is a strange thing to put in front of people who are sixteen and already paying for exams. So we built the version we wanted while we were sitting the thing ourselves, and left it open.
It is still being built. The banner at the top of every page says so, because a site that quietly changes under you is worse than one that admits it is changing.

What is in it
Practice
- Question bankExam questions across twelve subjects, filtered to the unit you are revising, each with its mark scheme.
- Topic questionsThe same questions, gathered by syllabus topic, for when you want one idea drilled rather than a whole unit.
- Paper simulatorA whole paper in one sitting at the real duration and mark total, with your data booklet open beside it.
- FlashcardsSubject decks and your own, scheduled so a card returns just before you would have forgotten it.
Reading
- Subject and unit guidesHow each subject is assessed, what gets examined in a unit, and where examiners report marks going missing.
- ArticlesRevision that works, what command terms actually ask for, choosing HL subjects, and the TOK essay titles.
- TOKAll 35 exhibition prompts and the six prescribed essay titles for May 2027, with what each one is asking.
- Data and formula bookletsThe reference documents you are given in the exam, readable in the browser, page by page.
Keeping track
- Deadlines and calendarIA drafts, EE milestones and exam dates in one place, and exportable to the calendar you already use.
- Score calculatorWhere your 45 comes from, including the bonus points, and what you need from the subjects left.
- CAS trackerHours across all three strands, guided reflections, and the whole portfolio exportable as a PDF.
- ScholarshipsCurated opportunities ranked against your subjects, target score and where you want to study.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no paid tier, no trial that ends, and no feature held back for one. You can work through three questions before making an account at all, and an account exists so that your progress, decks and deadlines are still there tomorrow.
Baccly is independent. It is not affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Organization, and nothing here is endorsed by them.
Tell us what is missing
Most of what has been built recently came from someone writing in. If a subject is thin, a mark scheme is wrong, or something you need is not here, say so.
